RUSTHALL LINKS

LOCAL PEOPLE AND PLACES

If you're local and have a website you'd like to share, just let us know and we'll add a link.

The Rusthall Village Association launched its own website in the autumn of 2009.

Allan 'Jif' Peters is responsible for many of the photos and watercolours on this site. Click on the icon to see more of his photos.

Here's one by Malcolm Geer who has a smallholding on the edge of the village ('A little piece of Mother Earth') where he raises happy chickens and geese.

Here's one by Jonny Taylor, a famous Rusthall resident who hangs out at the White Hart when not beavering away at his computer. He has some links to other local sites that we haven't added yet.

And here's another which Jon Taylor has a hand in editing. To quote from the blurb: 'Possibly unique as the first UK internet soap that occasionally features 'real people', Careless Talk is a twice weekly serial created and written by David Barry, one of the stars of the 1970s sitcoms Please, Sir! and Fenn Street Gang, in which he played the mother-smothered, loud-talking fantasist and confirmed coward, Frankie Abbott.'

The Historical Graphical Record
of Tunbridge Wells Society website

This rather grandly named society produces a CD of maps and pictures of the area, with an enlarged section on Rusthall for the 2004 edition. Visit their website for more. All profits from the CD go to the Royal Tunbridge Wells Symphony Orchestra.
